This place was a whole vibe! I like the set up and ambiance of the place. The coolest part was they have an outdoor seating area and have live musicians come play!! The vegan pizza was so filling and literally the best vegan cheese I’ve had. Like I was taken away how realistic it seemed. I can’t remember our waiters name (David or Dennis??) but he’s from Detroit and was such a delight! Definitely would come back :)
At first I was reluctant to buy a pizza here because the name had nothing to do with Italian. Boy oh boy am I glad I tried it! Holy smokes!! It is probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. And the price was just as delicious!! Do yourself a favor, try Pioneer pizza. You will thank me later! I meant to take a photo of the whole pizza before I ate it, but at least I was able to capture the saddest part of this meal...the last slice!
Great atmosphere and pizza was great! Amber our wait staff was friendly and fun! Outside patio is big and nice wait staff there too! Band playing good music!
I grew up in Stratford Connecticut , just 10 miles away from New Haven , the best pizza in the world , and Pioneer Pizza is no joke , they have a great pie here , I've been here in Sarasota for 33 years and this is some of the best pizza around , well worth the drive
I had such an amazing time at Pioneers pizza! The food was amazing. We had fried calamari, a burger with fries and an extra large chicken bacon ranch pizza between everyone in my group, along with a bunch of drinks. We sat in the back outdoor seating area while the live rock band played. It was great! Such an amazing vibe at this restaurant. They have a full bar as well. The waitress we had, Kay was her name, was very attentive and friendly! I will most definitely be returning here and I sooo look forward to when I do!
